Living up to Winchester's standards for reliability and integrity, the Winchester Deputy 12-11 gun safe offers affordable protection without compromising security. The safe is made of 14-gauge steel, and includes such extra-secure features as a drill-resistant hard plate, eight solid-steel 1-inch-diameter locking bolts, and two-way locking bolt work. The safe also stands up to fire emergencies, with two layers of 1/2-inch fireboard in the door and a single layer of 5/8-inch fireboard in the body. As a result, the safe can withstand up to 20 minutes of fire exposure at 1,200 degrees F. And the Deputy activates an auxiliary "re-locker" when it senses someone is tampering with the electronic lock. Upon detecting the interloper, the Deputy automatically moves the "re-locker" back into position to keep your guns extra safe.

Other features include a Palusol heat-expandable door seal for fire protection; a de-humidifier hole; a black single-lever handle; and a powder-coated granite gloss exterior. Designed to hold up to 14 guns in its 7-cubic-foot interior, the Deputy measures 21 by 59 by 17 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 300 pounds.
