The Ranger is made of 12-gauge steel, and includes such sturdy features as a drill-resistant hard plate, 10 solid-steel 1-1/4-inch-diameter locking bolts, and four-way locking bolt work. The safe also stands up to fire emergencies, with three layers of 1/2-inch fireboard in the door, two layers of 5/8-inch fireboard in the body, and a Palusol heat-expandable door seal. As a result, the safe can withstand up to one hour of fire exposure at 1,400 degrees F. And the Ranger activates an auxiliary "re-locker" when it senses someone is tampering with the electronic lock. Upon detecting the interloper, the Ranger automatically moves the "re-locker" back into position to keep your guns extra safe.

The Ranger safe is versatile, too, with a convertible interior that lets you customize the location of the shelves to maximize space for your guns, ammunition, and important papers. You can shift smaller items from shelf to shelf, or you can use the door panel organizer to make your gear and valuables even more accessible.
